Quietest Pencil Sharpener Give Away!

If you're a veteran teacher (or possibly even a new teacher), you know that having a pencil sharpener that is easy to use, quiet, and WORKS WITHOUT BREAKING is a
deal breaker in classroom supplies!
I've found the one for me!  Watch it in action...
Classroom Friendly Supplies has THE quietest and bestest pencil sharpener IMO...even sharpened those cute pencils with the fancy outside coverings that peel off with the electric sharpener and drive you crazy because then the very thing that you paid so much money to get the pencil is now all over the floor of your room :)

Hop over and purchase your own sharpener in a color of your choice (you can even use a PO from your school).

I've been given the opportunity to give one lucky teacher the ability to win one of these beauties on The Swamp!
You can enter the giveaway below.
Best of Luck!

  1. I had one of these and it broke after 2 weeks of use. I think I might have gotten a bad one since no one else has had the same problem and I'd like to give it another chance.

  2. I have heard great things about this sharperner. I've had them all, several electric ones (the last one broke after two weeks of just me using it...). The ones in th classroom never work. I've resorted to using small hand held ones mostly. This sharperner would be awesome to win.

  6. I have had the worst luck with pencil sharpeners!!

  7. My electric sharpeners don't 'die' but start sharpening at odd angles that allow the student to write about five words before the pencil breaks and they're back at the sharpener. Many end up just using pen (which I do NOT prefer), but I can't blame them. I hope this would be the end of my struggle! :) Amy

  28. I plan on subbing in the fall and would like something that I can bring with me. As a classroom teach it was my experience that kids love to use sharpening a pencil as an excuse to get out of their seat. This way I can have nice sharp pencils for them, and they don't need to get up :).

  36. I teach Kindergarten and my students pencils disappear... I think we have a pencil monster in my room. Every sharpener I have bought tends to eat the pencil or it won't sharpen it straight. I have heard wonderful things from other teachers about this sharpener and would love to have one.

  38. These sharpeners look great. It was my first year teaching this past year and I was silly and purchased a pretty expensive electric sharpener that broke two months in. Afterwards I began purchasing hand cranking sharpeners that suctioned to tables around the classroom from Walmart. They worked well but were SOO loud. I would love to give this sharpener a try!

  41. I'm looking for a new sharpener because all the electric ones I've bought have broken. I go through 2-3 per year, which is ridiculous. And I've always hated those old ones that are stuck to the wall. They break pencils, don't sharpen very well, and take quite a bit of muscle to work, which my firsties don't really have. I've entered every giveaway I can find for this pencil sharpener!! Fingers crossed!!!

  48. I don't need to win one of the pencil sharpeners. I have three in my room. I would like to respond to the first person on the list. Your pencil sharpener may not have been broken. A piece of lead was probably stuck. You just need to open it and push out the lead with a paper clip. We have about 100 of these sharpeners in my school. Good luck to the winner!!

  81. I just purchased my first one this summer. My personal first grader has used it to sharpen every pencil in the house. I love it so far. I usually go through two pencil sharpeners a year in my classroom. And a lot of the electric ones shake and vibrate the pencil so hard, it breaks the lead inside the pencil! I hate giving a child a "sharpend" pencil and as soon as they start writing it breaks! Ugggh!

  82. The school I am moving to (I was a 7th grade Reading teacher last year, this year I'll be teaching 4th grade ELA) is the last school in our district to be "upgraded."
