Dreambox Looks Like a Dream!

While "tooling around" on the internet today, I found this little resource that seems like just what the doctor ordered for some of my friends that need to practice subitizing and number recognition skills...

Even though it "toots the horn" for using these resources with "smart boards", it looks like you can use them with your computer just as well.  The first grade skills are wonderful....but...

....I think I'll be using some of the K skills as review and to help us get our addition and subtraction to 10 going more fluently!

Hop over and give it a try...and if you're an iPad user...
Have you seen the new Teacher Tipster app for subitizing??????
He is soooooo creative!  Check out this little YouTube preview...

You can upload your app at the iTunes store for only $.99.....Love the rhymes and the music!

Hop over and check these cool techno resources out for yourself!
Enjoy!

  3. Hi Heidi!

    I'm checking out dreambox now.

And I love Teacher Tipster and at my new school we will have Ipads (hooray!) so I'll be on the hunt for great apps.

    Thanks,

  4. We use dreambox and it is excellent! Over half of my 1st graders are on 2nd grade math (title 1 school with about 70% free/reduced lunch)!
